Cards To Keep you Soldiering On.

Ever wondered how our soldiers serving overseas in remote locations such as Afghanistan get to communicate with home. They sometimes have the opportunity to phone, Facebook or even write an email. What would be great though is for their loved ones at home to receive that special card with a few precious sentiments. Something that can be kept and remembered on the fridge, by the bedside table or proudly sitting on display by the TV. Something that holds their handwriting and is tangible. Something that will be kept and looked back on with fondness in years to come. These cards could also be used locally to build friendships with the people they so loyally protect from harm. If you would like to participate in this program, we ask that you provide a mixed range of cards suitable for all occassions and for both genders and bring them regularly to Crop Day where Shane will collect them and distribute to the defence forces overseas. Life goes on while our soldiers are away from home, cards that speak to the celebration or event will help them feel a part of it, such as Mother's Day, Father's Day, Birthday Wishes, Thank you's, Anniversaries, Valentine's Day and With Sympathy. This is a tremendous feel good thing that will surely brighten the day of both the soldier and the card recipient.

It's often the smallest thing that will make the biggest difference.
